Rackrail Rittal 4945.000 — staal, zilver, 6-pack

Rittal 4945.000 rack rail, supplied as a pack of six, is a steel mounting rail with a silver finish designed for installation in 19-inch racks and cabinets. It provides a fixed, robust support structure for servers, network switches, patch panels and other rack-mount equipment in data centres, server rooms and industrial control cabinets. The rails are intended to deliver consistent alignment and reliable load-bearing capacity where durable, stationary mounting is required.

Advantages

The steel construction ensures high mechanical strength and long-term dimensional stability under load. The silver surface finish offers corrosion resistance and a neutral appearance that integrates with standard IT and industrial enclosures. Supplied as a set of six rails, the package simplifies procurement for multi-unit installations and replacements while maintaining uniformity across a rack or cabinet line-up.

How to use

Install the rails into the vertical mounting posts of a 19-inch rack or cabinet according to the enclosure manufacturer’s mounting pattern and spacing. Ensure rails are level and properly aligned on both sides before securing with the appropriate rack hardware (screws, cage nuts or captive nuts as required). Mount equipment onto the rails following device-specific instructions, verifying that weight distribution and screw engagement meet the device manufacturer’s guidance.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable operation, use the rails with compatible 19-inch enclosures and mounting hardware, and observe load limits of the rack and individual equipment. When installing heavy or tall equipment, use additional support or mounting points as recommended by the equipment and enclosure manufacturers to prevent sagging or deformation.
