Rechte frees Bosch 2 608 628 391 lengte 56 mm werkdiepte 2,5 cm

The Bosch 2 608 628 391 straight bit is designed for general woodworking routing tasks, providing high cutting performance for grooves, slots, rebates and joints. With a total length of 56 mm and a working length of 2.5 cm, this bit is suitable for use in soft and hard solid wood as well as wooden composites, delivering precise, clean cuts while helping to reduce kickback during operation.

Advantages

The bit’s geometry limits generated chip thickness to reduce kickback and improve control. Its straight cutting edges produce clean grooves and rebates with minimal tear-out. Compatible with common routers, the Bosch straight bit is built for consistent precision in a range of woodworking applications.

How to use

Mount the straight bit securely in the router collet according to the router manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the correct collet size and tightness. Set the router speed and make test cuts in scrap material to verify depth and feed rate. Feed the workpiece or router steadily to create grooves, slots, rebates or joints, keeping hands clear of the cutter and using appropriate clamps and guards.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and hearing protection), work at recommended router speeds for the material, and make multiple shallow passes rather than one deep cut to prolong bit life and improve finish quality.
