Rechthoekige RVS-prullenbak Hailo Öko duo Plus M, 18 L inhoud

Hailo Öko duo Plus M is a rectangular stainless steel pedal waste bin with an 18 L total capacity and twin inserts for separate collection of recyclable and non-recyclable household or office waste. The steel housing offers a modern appearance and is easy to wipe clean. A soft-close mechanism ensures the lid closes quietly after use.

Advantages

The bin combines a compact rectangular shape with a divided interior, making it simple to separate two types of waste in a limited space. Stainless steel construction resists stains and is straightforward to maintain. The pedal operation provides hands-free use, and the soft-close lid reduces noise and wear.

Suitable for

• Household kitchens for separating organic and recyclable waste
• Small offices or workrooms where discreet dual-bin separation is needed
• Utility rooms, laundry areas, or under-counter locations with limited floor space

When it may not be suitable

This model has an 18 L combined capacity, so it may be too small for large households or locations that generate a high volume of waste and require less frequent emptying. Its rectangular shape and size are designed for compact placement rather than very large loads.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 18 litres (total, divided into two inserts)
• Material: stainless steel housing with internal plastic inserts
• Operation: pedal-operated, hands-free opening
• Lid: soft-close mechanism for quiet closing
• Shape: rectangular, space-saving design

How to use

Place the bin on a flat, stable surface and use the foot pedal to open the lid hands-free. Dispose of waste into the appropriate internal insert according to your separation scheme. Remove each insert for emptying and cleaning as needed; wipe the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that an 18 L combined capacity meets your household or office needs
• Ensure the rectangular dimensions fit the intended under-counter or floor space
• Check that you want a pedal-operated, divided bin with a soft-close lid rather than a single-compartment or larger model

Recommendations

For efficient waste separation, label the two inserts (e.g., recyclables and general waste) and empty them regularly to avoid odors. Clean the inserts periodically and dry them before replacing to maintain the stainless steel exterior and mechanism.
