Renkforce CAT 6a S/FTP netwerk-patchkabel 5m oranje met port finder RF-6609654

Locating the right port in a crowded patch panel or tracing a cable through a bundle can be time-consuming and error-prone. This Renkforce CAT 6a S/FTP patch cable solves that problem with a built-in Port Finder function: a built-in LED indicator on each connector helps you identify the corresponding port instantly, reducing downtime and cable management frustration.

Who is it for

Network administrators, IT technicians, and advanced home users who need reliable high-speed connections and efficient cable management in data centres, server rooms, or complex home networks. It is especially useful for anyone who frequently reconfigures network equipment or troubleshoots connectivity issues.

Main features

• CAT 6a performance: supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s and bandwidth up to 500 MHz, ideal for 10GBASE-T applications.
• S/FTP shielding: each twisted pair is individually wrapped in metal foil, and the entire cable has an overall braided screen, providing excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk.
• Port Finder function: integrated LED indicators on both RJ45 connectors allow quick identification of the connected port, simplifying network tracing and organisation.
• Durable construction: stranded copper conductors (26/7 AWG) offer flexibility, while gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-resistant connections.
• PoE support: fully compatible with Power over Ethernet standards including PoE, PoE+, and PoE++, enabling data and power delivery over a single cable.
• Backward compatible: works seamlessly with existing CAT 5e and CAT 6 networks, protecting your infrastructure investment.

Tips

To get the most out of the Port Finder function, press the button on the connector to activate the LED and trace the cable to its destination. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. When using PoE, ensure your power sourcing equipment is compatible with the required PoE class.
