REVELL ruimteschip modelbouwpakket schaal 1:72, lengte 226 mm, 89 onderdelen

REVELL spaceship model assembly kit 1:72 scale, length 226 mm, 89 parts is a plastic construction kit that assembles into a 226 mm long replica of a Y-wing style spacecraft at 1:72 scale. The kit contains 89 individually molded parts intended for glue-and-paint assembly and is designed for display, dioramas, and hobby modelling. Basic modelling tools and adhesives are required to complete the build; parts are arranged on sprues and provide surface detail for painting and finishing.

Advantages

The kit offers accurate scale proportioning at 1:72 and a moderate part count that balances detail with manageable assembly. Molded detail on individual components reduces the need for extensive aftermarket modifications while providing clear panel lines and structural elements. Compatibility with standard modelling paints and adhesives makes finishing straightforward, and the assembled model is well suited for display or integration into dioramas.

How to use

Carefully remove parts from the sprues using clippers and clean flash or mold lines with a hobby knife or fine files. Dry-fit parts before applying plastic model cement or solvent-based adhesives, then assemble according to the included instructions. Once assembly is complete, prime the model and apply paints suitable for polystyrene, using brushes or airbrush equipment as preferred. Allow adequate drying time between paint layers and apply decals or weathering effects to achieve the desired finish.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment when cutting and sanding parts, and work in a well-ventilated area when using adhesives, primers, and paints. Recommended tools include sprue cutters, hobby knife, sanding sticks, plastic cement or solvent, primer, acrylic or enamel model paints, fine brushes or an airbrush, and tweezers for small parts.
