Ringband HERLITZ maX.file protect A4, 4-ringmechaniek, zwart

The HERLITZ maX.file protect A4 ring binder in black is designed to store and organise A4 documents with a secure 4-ring mechanism. It accommodates punched papers and file inserts, protects sheets from bending and wear, and supports neat, accessible document management for office, school and home environments. The binder combines a slim profile with durable cover material to fit on shelves and in filing systems while maintaining document protection during handling and transport.

Advantages

This A4 ring binder features a reliable 4-ring mechanism that keeps punched documents aligned and prevents slipping. The protective cover reduces edge and corner damage to papers and helps maintain a professional appearance. Its compact spine and standard A4 format make it compatible with common shelving and filing solutions, while the black finish provides a neutral, unobtrusive look suitable for multiple settings.

Suitable for

• Organising and storing A4 reports, manuals and handouts
• School binders for class materials and student notes
• Office filing for procedures, contracts and reference documents
• Home document storage such as receipts, warranties and personal records

Key specifications

• Document format compatibility: A4
• Ring mechanism: 4-ring metal closure for punched sheets
• Cover colour: black
• Construction: rigid cover designed to protect paper edges
• Spine profile: slim design suitable for shelf storage

How to use

Open the 4-ring mechanism by lifting the ring lever or opening tabs, insert punched A4 papers onto the rings, and close the mechanism until it clicks to secure the sheets. Use the binder for grouping related documents, separating sections with dividers if needed, and labelling the spine or front to identify contents. Store the binder upright on a shelf or in a filing cabinet to maintain the shape of the cover and protect internal documents from bending.

Recommendations

For long-term storage, distribute pages evenly and avoid overfilling beyond the binder's comfortable capacity. Use punched reinforcements on frequently handled pages to reduce tear-out risk. Keep the binder in a dry, moderate-temperature environment to preserve the cover and paper quality.
