How to use

Install the half-size plate into a compatible faceplate frame or outlet box, secure it with the provided mounting points, and connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 socket. If using as a gender changer, plug the mating RJ-45 connector directly into the socket for a 1:1 pass-through connection. Ensure cables are terminated according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B) and verify continuity with a cable tester after installation.

Recommendations

Use Category 6 or 6a shielded or unshielded cabling as appropriate for your installation environment, keep cable runs within standard maximum lengths, and perform network tests after installation to confirm signal integrity.
