ROLINE Cat.6 UTP-patchkabel, PoE, 3 m, zwart 21.51.1555

In a busy office, a network technician plugs this ROLINE Cat.6 patch cable into a VoIP phone to deliver both data and power over a single run. The 3-meter length reaches from a floor box to a desk, and the black jacket blends neatly with furniture. The cable is built with unshielded twisted pairs and supports Power over Ethernet, so no separate power adapter is needed for compatible devices.

Key specifications

• Category 6 (Class E) performance, tested up to 250 MHz
• Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction with 24 AWG solid copper conductors
• Gigabit Ethernet speed: up to 1 Gbps data transfer rate
• PoE compatible (IEEE 802.3af/at) for powering devices like IP cameras and access points
• RJ45 male connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts for reliable connectivity
• PVC jacket for durability and flexibility in indoor environments
• Wired to TIA/EIA 568B standard, ensuring compatibility with all network equipment
• Length: 3 meters, ideal for connecting devices at moderate distances

Why choose it

This cable delivers consistent Gigabit performance without the bulk of shielded alternatives. The UTP design keeps it lightweight and easy to route through cable managers. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion, maintaining signal integrity over time. The black color is professional and hides dust and scuffs in high-traffic areas. With PoE support, it simplifies installations by carrying both data and electrical power, reducing the need for extra power outlets near devices.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers, printers, and network switches in office LANs
• Powering PoE devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and security cameras
• Patch panel to switch connections in server rooms and data cabinets
• Home networking for smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming devices
• Temporary setups at trade shows or training rooms where quick, reliable links are needed

Good to know

The cable meets Cat.6 specifications and is backward compatible with Cat.5e and Cat.5 networks. The PVC jacket is suitable for indoor use; avoid outdoor or in-wall installations where plenum-rated cable is required. ROLINE is a trusted brand for network infrastructure, and this cable is backed by quality manufacturing standards. Each cable is individually tested to ensure performance.
