Rookmelder Alecto SA20 3x — 3-pack, optische rookmelders op batterijen, wit

The Alecto SA20 3x pack contains three battery-powered optical smoke detectors in white, designed for domestic fire detection. Each detector uses an optical sensor to detect visible combustion particles and emits an audible alarm when smoke is present. The compact, low-profile housing allows installation on ceilings or high on walls in bedrooms, corridors and living rooms to provide early warning of smouldering or flaming fires.

Advantages

Optical sensing technology provides reliable detection of slow, smouldering fires and visible combustion particles. Battery operation makes the detectors easy to install without wiring, enabling placement where mains power is not available. The unit’s audible alarm delivers a clear, high-volume signal to alert occupants. The simple white design integrates unobtrusively into most interior décors and the three-pack offers coverage for multiple rooms or floors.

Suitable for

• Bedrooms and children's rooms
• Hallways and stairwells
• Living rooms and dining areas
• Rental properties and temporary accommodation

Key specifications

• Detection principle: optical (photoelectric) smoke sensing
• Power supply: battery-powered for standalone operation
• Form factor: ceiling- or wall-mountable compact housing
• Color: white finish to match interior surfaces
• Alarm output: audible alarm for occupant warning

How to use

Mount each detector on a ceiling or high on a wall following the manufacturer’s mounting recommendations for best coverage: place units in sleeping areas, corridors and on each floor of the residence. Insert fresh batteries and test each alarm using the test button to confirm a loud audible signal before regular use. Replace batteries and retest periodically according to the manufacturer’s guidance to ensure continuous operation.

Recommendations

Install a detector inside or just outside sleeping areas and on every level of the home for complete coverage. Avoid installing units directly above cooking appliances to reduce false alarms; if installed near kitchens, consider placing at a short distance or using a detector with a hush/test function. Replace batteries at least once a year or when low-battery signaling occurs, and test alarms monthly to verify functionality.
