The ergonomic handheld design supports steady handling during precision work and quick switching between accessories simplifies workflow.

Suitable for

• Crafts and hobby projects such as model making and wood carving
• Electronics repair and light component work
• Small household repairs and touch-up jobs
• Sanding, polishing and detailed cutting on wood, plastic and soft metals

When it may not be suitable

This compact rotary tool is intended for light-duty and precision tasks rather than heavy industrial use. It may not provide sufficient power or durability for sustained cutting or grinding of large metal parts, masonry, or prolonged professional workshop workloads.

Key specifications

• Tool type: handheld rotary multi-tool for drilling, grinding and polishing
• Form factor: compact, lightweight design for detailed work
• Included accessories: cutting, sanding and polishing bits for small-scale tasks
• Primary applications: precision hobby work, electronics repair, small household touch-ups

How to use

Select an appropriate accessory for the task, secure it in the rotary unit according to the manufacturer's instructions, then set a suitable rotational speed for the material and operation. Hold the tool with a steady grip and use light, even pressure; let the accessory do the work rather than forcing the tool. Change accessories as needed for cutting, sanding or polishing, and inspect the workpiece frequently to avoid overworking delicate areas. After use, disconnect power and store accessories in the kit case.

What to consider before purchase

• Material compatibility: designed mainly for wood, plastics, soft metals and electronic components
• Accessory set: check which cutting, sanding and polishing bits are included and whether additional bits are required
• Ergonomics: compact size for tight spaces but may offer limited leverage for large tasks

Recommendations

Use the Xiaomi Rotary Tool Kit 72650 for controlled, short-duration tasks that require precision rather than continuous heavy use. Match accessory type and speed to the material, wear appropriate eye and dust protection, and allow the tool to cool between extended sessions.
