Netwerkkabel Dätwyler Cables 21.05.0534 blauw 3m Cat6a S/FTP

The Dätwyler Cables 21.05.0534 Blue 3m Cat6a S/FTP is a 3-metre network patch cable designed to support high-speed Ethernet connections. Built to the Cat6a standard with S/FTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable aims to deliver reliable data transmission and improved protection from external electromagnetic interference. The blue jacket provides visual identification in structured cabling environments and matches common color-coded network layouts.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines overall foil shielding with individual pair shielding to reduce crosstalk and external noise, which helps maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. Cat6a performance supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate distances while RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network devices. The 3 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices within racks, between wall outlets and workstations, or in small office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within wiring closets
• Linking desktop computers, VoIP phones and networked printers
• Short office or home installations requiring Cat6a performance
• Structured cabling where color-coding simplifies identification

Key specifications

• Length: 3 metres
• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, router or wall outlet and the other end to the device you wish to network, such as a PC, NAS or IP phone. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges or sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal performance. For installations within panels or racks, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where 10 Gigabit-capable cabling and reduced interference are required. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines; maintain gentle bend radii and secure connections to ensure long-term reliability.
