Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35003 groen 0.25m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35003 Green 0.25m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is a short patch cable engineered for high-speed Ethernet connections up to 10,000 Mbit/s. With Cat7 performance and U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded) construction, this 0.25 meter cable is intended for compact installations where minimal length and reliable signal transfer are required. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and corrosion resistance, while the bright green jacket provides clear visual identification in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

The cable delivers Cat7-level bandwidth suitable for high-throughput networks and reduces crosstalk through twisted-pair design. Its short 0.25 m length minimizes signal attenuation in patching scenarios and helps keep server rooms or workstation areas tidy. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable electrical connection and longer connector life. The colored jacket simplifies cable management and quick identification when multiple runs are present.

Suitable for

• Patching between network devices in racks and patch panels
• Short connections between routers, switches, and desktop NICs
• High-speed home networking and small office setups
• Environments where distinct colored cabling aids organization

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance class
• Length: 0.25 m (short patch cable)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded, twisted pair conductors)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Jacket color: green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your switch, router, or patch panel and the other end to the device requiring a network connection. Because the cable is only 0.25 m long, it is best used for close-proximity patching inside racks, between adjacent devices, or where minimal slack is needed. Ensure connectors are fully seated until a click is felt to secure the connection and verify link lights on network equipment to confirm successful physical connectivity.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid excessive bending or kinking of the cable and maintain gentle bend radii near connectors. Use the green cable to mark specific network segments or device groups in patch panels; replace cables showing visible wear or damaged connectors to preserve signal quality.
