Rubberen lichtkabel EUROLITE RL1-230V 9m – flexibele rubberen verlichtingskabel 230 V, 9 m

EUROLITE RL1-230V 9m is a flexible rubber lighting cable for 230 V installations, supplied in a 9-metre length. Designed for temporary and semi-permanent lighting runs, the rubber-sheathed cable offers mechanical robustness and resistance to wear, making it suitable for use in event setups, stages, workshops and construction sites. The cable’s flexibility simplifies routing along floors or for hung installations while maintaining a reliably insulated power delivery for lighting fixtures and equipment.

Advantages

The rubber jacket provides increased resistance to abrasion, bending and mechanical stress compared with standard PVC cable, while maintaining flexibility at typical operating temperatures. Its construction offers reliable electrical insulation and reduced risk of damage in busy environments. The 9 m length reduces the need for additional joins or extensions within typical venue and site layouts, and the cable’s consistent round profile facilitates organized routing and secure fastening.

How to use

Inspect the cable for visible damage before each use, ensuring the rubber sheath and terminations are intact. Route the cable to avoid sharp edges and heavy foot traffic when possible, and secure with appropriate clips, cable ramps or ties rated for rubber insulated cable. Connect to compatible 230 V lighting fixtures or distribution boxes, observing local electrical safety regulations and ensuring correct protective earth and conductor connections. Avoid excessive tension or tight bending radii at connector points to preserve mechanical integrity.

Recommendations

For safe and durable operation, use the cable in covered or protected outdoor areas and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or chemicals that could degrade the rubber sheath. When running across walkways, protect the cable with ramps or covers and choose fixing points that do not compress or cut the jacket. Periodically check for signs of wear and replace the cable if the insulation or conductors are compromised.
