Rugged boot voor handheld-apparaat Datalogic 94ACC0132

The Datalogic handheld device rugged boot is a protective accessory designed to increase durability and resistance to impacts, abrasion and everyday wear for compatible handheld scanners and mobile terminals. Offered in black and blue, this rugged boot fits DL-AXIST series devices and provides a reinforced outer layer that helps extend the service life of the device in industrial, warehouse and outdoor environments.

Advantages

The rugged boot adds mechanical protection against drops, bumps and scratches while maintaining access to key buttons and ports. Made from resilient materials, it resists surface abrasion and provides a better grip in wet or oily conditions. The tailored design ensures a snug fit that reduces the risk of dust and debris intrusion without obstructing scanning windows or connectors.

Suitable for

• Warehouse picking and inventory management
• Manufacturing floor and production environments
• Outdoor field service and logistics operations
• Retail backroom and point-of-service handling

Key specifications

• Material: impact-resistant elastomer designed for shock absorption
• Color options: black and blue
• Compatibility: form-fit for DL-AXIST series handheld terminals
• Access: unobstructed openings for buttons, trigger, display and connectors
• Surface finish: textured for improved grip

How to use

Align the boot with the handheld device so that the display, buttons and connector openings match the device’s features. Stretch the boot over the device starting from one end and work toward the other, ensuring all edges sit flush and that the trigger and scanning window remain clear. Periodically remove the boot to clean both the device and accessory; inspect for damage and replace the boot if excessive wear or tearing is present.

Recommendations

For optimal protection, pair the rugged boot with standard handling procedures: avoid exposing the device to prolonged chemical contact, clean the boot with mild soap and water, and inspect seams regularly. Use the boot in environments where impact protection and improved grip are needed, and replace it if the material shows cracks or significant deformation.
