Rugzak DEUTER Aircontact Core 50+10 Atlantic‑Ink — 50+10 L volume, verstelbaar rugsysteem

DEUTER Aircontact Core 50+10 Atlantic‑Ink is a 50+10 L hiking backpack designed for multi‑day treks where carrying comfort, load stability and organized storage are essential. The pack combines an adjustable back system with a padded hip belt and ergonomic shoulder straps to transfer weight to the hips while maintaining ventilation along the back. Multiple compartments, pockets and external attachment points provide structured storage for clothing, sleeping gear and quick‑access items.

Advantages

The adjustable back system adapts to different torso lengths to ensure a close fit and correct load distribution. A padded hip belt with load‑lifter straps shifts most of the weight to the pelvis, reducing shoulder strain on long marches. The backpack includes several compartments and external attachment points to separate bulky items from small essentials and to secure tools or trekking poles. Ventilation channels and breathable padding improve airflow during active use, helping to manage heat and moisture.

How to use

Adjust the back system to match your torso length before loading the pack. Position the hip belt centrally on the pelvis and tighten it so the majority of the pack weight rests on your hips. Use the load‑lifter straps to pull the upper part of the pack closer to your back for better balance. Distribute gear with heavier items close to the spine and mid‑low in the main compartment, and place frequently used items in external pockets or the top lid. Stow fragile or wet items in separate compartments or waterproof liners.

Recommendations

For long treks, test the adjusted fit with a loaded pack and fine‑tune hip belt and shoulder strap tension before setting off; this reduces fatigue and improves stability. Use the external attachment points for tools you need quick access to, and consider a rain cover for heavy precipitation to protect contents and fabric durability.
