Rugzak DEUTER Futura 23 — 23L volume, verstelbaar rugsysteem

DEUTER Futura 23 is a 23-litre hiking backpack with an adjustable back system designed to provide a fitted, ventilated carry for day hikes and light multi-day trips. The pack balances organized storage and comfortable load distribution, offering easy access to essentials and features intended to reduce sweating and pressure on the shoulders and hips. The size and carrying system make it suitable for outdoor activities, commuting and short travel where stable support and airflow are required.

Advantages

The adjustable back system allows individual tuning of the torso length to achieve a better fit. Mesh back paneling keeps airflow between pack and wearer, improving comfort during sustained activity. Multiple external pockets and attachment points enable neat organization and quick retrieval of water, snacks and small gear. Hip belt and shoulder straps are shaped to distribute weight evenly and reduce fatigue on longer walks.

How to use

Adjust the back system to match your torso length before fitting the pack. Load heavier items close to the back and position them centrally to maintain balance. Fasten and tighten the hip belt so most of the weight rests on the hips, then adjust shoulder straps and sternum strap for a secure, comfortable fit. Use external pockets for items you need to reach quickly and stow less-used gear in the main compartment. Regularly check and re-tighten straps as you move to keep the load stable.

Recommendations

For best comfort, set the adjustable back system while wearing the backpack with a typical load and fine-tune straps. Use breathable clothing to complement the ventilated back panel. For wet conditions, use a rain cover or pack items in waterproof bags to protect gear.
