S-Video + cinch-bus Kindermann 7444000505 aluminium 50mm

The Kindermann 7444000505 is a compact adapter plate combining an S-Video (4-pin mini-DIN) socket and an RCA (phono) socket in a half-size anodized aluminium faceplate. Designed for wall or furniture mounting, the 50 mm wide plate with a depth of 47 mm provides a durable and unobtrusive connection point for analogue video and composite audio signals in home theater or professional AV installations.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers robust mechanical protection and an aesthetic, low-reflective finish. The combination of S-Video and RCA connectors on a single 50 mm plate saves space and simplifies cable routing. The standardized connectors ensure compatibility with common AV devices and cables, while the half-size format fits standard mounting systems for neat, professional installations.

How to use

Mount the plate in a compatible half-size wall or furniture opening and secure it with the appropriate screws. Connect the S-Video cable to the 4-pin mini-DIN socket for analog video signal and use the RCA socket for composite video or audio as required. Ensure cables are fully inserted and routed to avoid strain on the connectors. Verify signal routing at source and display equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Use shielded cables for RCA and S-Video connections to minimise interference. When integrating into professional racks or structured cabling, label both ends of each cable for easier maintenance and future changes.
