Sabelzaag BOSCH GSA 120 1200W 06016B1020 OEM

The BOSCH GSA 120 reciprocating saw with a 1200W motor is designed for demanding cutting tasks across wood, metal and plastic. Its compact, lightweight housing and ergonomic handle support longer working periods while integrated speed control adapts blade motion to different materials and cutting requirements. The tool-free blade change system simplifies swapping blades on site, and the robust motor delivers consistent cutting performance for renovation, demolition and installation work.

Advantages

The 1200W motor provides high cutting power while maintaining manageable weight and balance for one-hand or two-hand operation depending on the task. Variable speed control allows precise adjustment of stroke rate to suit material thickness and blade type. The tool-free blade change mechanism reduces downtime and simplifies blade replacement without additional tools. An ergonomic handle and compact form factor improve handling in confined spaces and reduce operator fatigue during extended use.

Suitable for

• Cutting dimensional lumber and timber framing
• Metal pipes, profiles and thin sheet metal
• Plastic pipes, panels and composite materials
• Demolition of walls, removal of fixtures and renovation tasks
• Site repairs and general maintenance work

Key specifications

• Power: 1200 W motor for continuous cutting performance
• Speed control: variable electronic speed control for adjustable stroke rate
• Blade system: tool-free blade change for quick replacement
• Design: compact, lightweight housing with ergonomic handle
• Application: suitable for wood, metal and plastic cutting

How to use

Choose an appropriate blade for the material you intend to cut and secure it using the tool-free blade holder. Set the electronic speed control to a lower setting for thin or fragile materials and increase speed for thicker or harder materials. Maintain a firm grip on the ergonomic handle and position the shoe against the workpiece to stabilise the saw. Apply steady, moderate pressure and allow the blade’s action to do the cutting; avoid forcing the saw. After use, unplug or remove the battery according to the power source and store the tool and blades in a dry, secure place.

Recommendations

Use blades matched to the material and thickness to maximise blade life and cutting quality. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and gloves. Keep ventilation or dust extraction in place when cutting materials that produce dust. Inspect blades for wear or damage before each use and replace them as needed to maintain safe and efficient operation.
