Salewa Alp Trainer 2 GTX dameswandelschoenen - zwart/onyx - maat 41

Technical terrain demands footwear that balances protection, grip, and comfort. The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 GTX for women answers that call, delivering a mid-cut hiking boot engineered for alpine approaches, via ferrata, and demanding treks. Its GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane keeps your feet dry through stream crossings and sudden showers, while the Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole bites into rock and mud alike. With a women's-specific fit and a precise lacing system, this boot turns long ascents into confident strides.

Who is it for

Built for female hikers and mountaineers who tackle technical trails, rocky ridges, and multi-day backpacking trips. If you need a boot that performs on via ferrata and still feels comfortable on the approach, the Alp Trainer 2 GTX is your partner. The size 41 (UK 7.5, US Women's 9.5) suits medium-width feet with a standard fit.

Tips

For the best fit, try the boots with your intended hiking socks. The climbing lacing allows fine adjustment: tighten the lower section for heel lock, and keep the upper slightly looser for ankle mobility on steep ascents. After a wet hike, remove the Ortholite® footbed and let the boots air dry away from direct heat to preserve the membrane.
