Why choose it

This jacket is engineered for serious mountain use. The GORE-TEX® 3L construction offers an ideal balance of storm protection and packability, while the athletic fit reduces bulk without limiting mobility. The PFC-free DWR treatment sheds light rain and snow, and the fully adjustable hood fits over a climbing helmet when needed. Underarm zips let you dump heat on steep ascents, and the water-resistant zippers keep your essentials dry.

Ideal use cases

• Alpine trekking and hiking in unpredictable weather
• Mountaineering and ridge scrambles requiring helmet-compatible hood
• Backpacking trips where weight and packability matter
• Everyday wear in wet, windy conditions

Good to know

The PFC-free DWR treatment is better for the environment without sacrificing performance. The jacket is designed as an outer layer, so pair it with a midlayer for colder conditions. It packs down small for easy stowing in your pack when the sun returns.
