Salewa Wildfire 2 GTX Heren-Approachschonen Navy Blazer/Zwart EU 42

With a Pomoca Speed MTN outsole and GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane, the Salewa Wildfire 2 GTX delivers waterproof, precise performance for technical approaches and scrambles.

Overview

The Wildfire 2 GTX is a men's approach shoe built for demanding mountain terrain. Its suede leather and mesh upper, reinforced with Salewa's Exa Shell over a 3D cage, provides durable protection and a secure fit. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps feet dry in wet conditions while allowing breathability during high-output climbs. A climbing lacing system extends to the toe for a precise, adjustable fit, and the Pomoca Speed MTN outsole features a dedicated climbing zone for edging and smearing on rock.

What stands out

• 3F System with Kevlar cables wraps the heel and ankle for support and flexibility.
• Anti-rock heel cup reduces pressure and enhances stability on uneven ground.
• Ortholite footbed offers long-lasting cushioning and moisture management.
• 11 mm drop (heel 28 mm, toe 17 mm) balances comfort and precision.
• Weighs only 400 g per shoe (EU 42), keeping you light on approaches.
