Samsung S36GD Computermonitor 61 cm (24 inch) 1920 x 1080 Pixel Full HD LCD zwart

The Samsung S36GD 24" Full HD LCD 1920 x 1080 is a 24-inch curved monitor with a VA panel designed for general-purpose desktop use. It delivers a native Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 4 ms response time for responsive on-screen motion. The panel offers wide horizontal and vertical 178° viewing angles and a typical brightness of 250 cd/m². The monitor has a high typical contrast ratio of 3000:1, a black finish and supports VESA mounting for flexible installation.

Advantages

The curved VA panel provides deeper contrast and uniform dark levels compared with many flat TN panels, while the 4 ms response time helps reduce motion blur in everyday tasks. Wide 178° viewing angles maintain colour and contrast when the screen is viewed from off-centre positions. The Full HD resolution and 24" diagonal balance readable screen real estate with desk space requirements. VESA compatibility simplifies mounting to arms or wall brackets when a more ergonomic setup is needed.

Suitable for

• Office tasks and document editing
• Web browsing and multimedia playback
• Casual photo viewing and basic image editing
• Home and small business workstations where space is limited

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or attach it to a VESA-compatible mount following the mount manufacturer's instructions. Connect the monitor to a computer using the appropriate video cable supported by the computer and monitor (check available inputs on the unit). Adjust the on-screen display settings such as brightness, contrast and colour mode to suit your viewing environment. Position the curved screen so the centre of the display is approximately at eye level and maintain an appropriate viewing distance to reduce eye strain.

Recommendations

For consistent image quality, allow the monitor to warm up for a few minutes before performing critical colour work. Adjust brightness to match ambient lighting and use the VESA mount to create an ergonomic setup where the top third of the screen is at eye level. Avoid prolonged static images to reduce the risk of image retention; enable a screen saver or power-saving mode when the monitor is idle.
