Samsung S80UD computermonitor 94 cm (37 inch) 3840 x 2160 pixel 4K Ultra HD LCD Zwart

The Samsung S80UD 37" 4K Ultra HD LCD (3840 x 2160) monitor delivers a large, high-resolution display with a 37-inch diagonal and VA panel technology. With a native 16:9 aspect ratio and a 5 ms response time, the screen is suitable for detailed images and smooth on-screen motion. The monitor offers a wide viewing angle of 178° horizontally and vertically, typical brightness of 350 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 3000:1 for pronounced blacks and clear color depth. The model includes a built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub and supports VESA mounting with height adjustment. Energy efficiency is classified as F (SDR) and G (HDR), and the chassis is finished in black.

Advantages

The large 37" 4K resolution provides high pixel density for precise detail and workspace on a single screen. VA panel technology and a 3000:1 contrast ratio improve blacks and tonal separation compared with lower-contrast panels. A fast 5 ms response time reduces motion blur in video playback and general desktop use. Built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub simplifies connection of peripherals and accessories. VESA mounting plus height adjustment enables ergonomic positioning for a range of work setups. The wide 178° viewing angles maintain image consistency when viewed from different positions.

Suitable for

• Photo and video review where a large 4K canvas is needed
• Office productivity and multitasking with extended desktop space
• General multimedia consumption and streaming
• CAD, design previews and detailed spreadsheets
• Home office and professional desktops requiring ergonomic height adjustment

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable surface or mount it to a VESA-compatible arm or bracket. Connect video input from your PC or media source using the appropriate cable supported by your system. Attach peripherals to the built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub for convenient access. Adjust the screen height to a comfortable eye level to reduce neck strain and position the monitor at an appropriate distance to make full use of the 4K resolution. Use the monitor on-screen menu to set preferred brightness, contrast and color modes according to your workflow or content type.

Recommendations

For accurate color-critical work, allow the monitor to warm up for at least 30 minutes and calibrate with a hardware colorimeter. To optimise ergonomic comfort, set the top of the screen at approximately eye level and keep a viewing distance that allows individual pixels to remain visually discrete for your typical tasks.
