The SAMURA Harakiri utility knife brings a compact 138 mm AUS-8 stainless steel blade with a stonewash finish, offering a balance of sharpness and corrosion resistance for everyday kitchen tasks. Unlike typical utility knives, it features a symmetrical grind and a plain edge that excels at precise slicing, dicing, and chopping of small to medium ingredients.

Highlights

• 138 mm AUS-8 stainless steel blade with stonewash finish
• Hardness 58-59 HRC for lasting edge retention
• ABS plastic handle for a secure, comfortable grip
• Symmetrical grind and plain edge for versatile cutting
• Hand wash recommended to preserve blade quality

In daily use

This utility knife is ideal for tasks that require more control than a chef's knife but more blade than a paring knife. The 138 mm blade handles fruits, vegetables, and boneless meats with ease, while the stonewash finish helps hide scratches from regular use. The ABS handle is lightweight and easy to clean, though hand washing is recommended to maintain the blade's edge and finish.
