Schakelaarafdekking Busch-Jaeger 1754-0-4235 afdekraam wit, model 1754-0-4235

Busch-Jaeger 1754-0-4235 wall plate in white is a single-gang cover designed to finish the visible frame around a standard wall switch. The plate provides a smooth, durable surface that integrates with domestic and light-commercial interiors where a uniform and unobtrusive switch appearance is required. It is sized to fit common European switch installations and to work with compatible Busch-Jaeger mechanisms and mounting frames.

Advantages

This wall plate offers a clean, neutral white finish that resists everyday wear and is easy to clean. Its precise dimensions ensure a snug fit with standard switch mechanisms, reducing gaps and improving the visual continuity of switch clusters. The material is impact-resistant to normal household use and maintains colour stability over time, supporting long-term aesthetic consistency.

How to use

Switch off power to the switch circuit at the consumer unit before removing the existing cover plate. Unscrew the existing frame screws, remove the old plate and align the Busch-Jaeger cover plate over the switch mechanism and mounting frame. Secure the plate with the original screws or the screws supplied with the mounting frame, ensuring it is level and sits flush against the wall. Restore power and check the switch operation.

Recommendations

For safe installation, always isolate the electrical circuit and verify absence of voltage before handling mounting frames or switch mechanisms. Use the cover plate with matching Busch-Jaeger mechanisms and frames for optimal fit. Clean the surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
