Scheepsmodel Revell R.M.S. Titanic

The Revell R.M.S. Titanic model kit is a 1:1200 scale assembly model with an overall length of 223 mm once built. Intended for model enthusiasts and collectors, this kit reproduces the profile and main external details of the historic ocean liner. The compact scale and clear moulding make the model suitable for display in cabinets, dioramas or as part of a larger historical ship collection.

Advantages

This kit offers accurate external proportions and simplified but recognisable deck and superstructure details that reflect the Titanic’s iconic silhouette. The small 1:1200 scale reduces build time and space requirements while preserving visible features such as funnels, masts and hull lines. Parts are designed for glue assembly and painting, allowing hobbyists to control the final appearance and finish.

How to use

Assemble the model following the included instruction sheet: separate parts carefully from sprues, clean any moulding flash, and test-fit components before applying plastic cement. Work in stages, allowing glued joints to cure before proceeding. Paint individual parts prior to final assembly where appropriate, and use fine brushes or airbrush equipment for more consistent results. Decals, if included, should be applied to a smooth, cured paint surface and sealed with a clear coat for protection.

Recommendations

Use this model kit in a well-ventilated area when applying adhesives and paints. Suitable tools include hobby knives, sandpaper, plastic cement, fine brushes and tweezers. Keep small parts away from children under 14 due to choking hazards and follow all safety instructions on adhesive and paint products.
