Schep Fiskars MyFirst aluminium-kunststof, kindertuinschep, groen

The Spade Fiskars MyFirst Aluminium Plastic Green is a child-sized gardening spade designed for playground and outdoor play. Combining an aluminium shaft with a plastic blade and a green finish, this lightweight tool is intended for young users who are learning basic digging and soil-handling skills. The construction aims to balance durability with manageable weight for children.

Advantages

The aluminium shaft provides a rigid but light structure that reduces fatigue during play. The plastic blade is shaped for safe digging in sand and loose soil while limiting sharp edges. The modest size and ergonomic grip are tailored to smaller hands, supporting easy control and coordination. The green finish improves visibility and aligns with outdoor settings.

Suitable for

• Children’s sandboxes and play areas
• Outdoor gardening activities for young learners
• Preschool and kindergarten outdoor equipment
• Beach play and digging in soft substrates

Key specifications

• Construction: aluminium shaft with plastic blade
• Color: green
• Designed size: child-appropriate dimensions and weight
• Intended use: digging and moving sand or loose soil in play environments

How to use

Hold the spade by the grip with one or both hands depending on the child’s strength and the task. Use the blade edge to scoop sand or loosen soil, then lift and move the material to the desired location. For safety, avoid using the spade on hard or compacted surfaces where excessive force would be required. After use, clean off sand and soil with water and allow to dry before storing.

Recommendations

Supervise children during use, ensure appropriate footwear and play surfaces, and store the spade out of direct sunlight to help maintain material condition. Regularly check the shaft and blade for signs of wear or damage and replace if any structural issues appear.
