Schilderset Ravensburger CreArt — Colorful New York City (schilderen-op-nummer-set)

Ravensburger 23686 Color by Numbers Kit is a book-style colouring set designed for children. The kit contains one 300×240 mm colouring sheet with numbered areas that guide colour selection, helping children practice colour recognition, follow instructions and develop fine motor skills. The folded book format keeps pages tidy and portable, making the set suitable for home, school or leisure activities.

Advantages

The numbered colouring approach provides clear guidance, which reduces frustration and supports independent activity for young users. The 300×240 mm format offers a substantial working area while remaining easy to handle and store. Printed on paper suitable for colouring media, the pages accept crayons, colored pencils and markers with predictable results. The single-piece kit is simple to start immediately without extra materials.

Suitable for

• Children learning colour recognition and practicing fine motor skills
• Parents and teachers seeking a ready-to-use colouring activity for home or classroom
• Leisure time activities during travel, playdates or quiet time
• Craft sessions where guided colouring is preferred

Key specifications

• Format: book-style colouring pages
• Sheet size: 300 × 240 mm
• Contents: 1 colouring page (numbered areas for guided colouring)
• Target user: children
• Compatible media: crayons, coloured pencils, markers

How to use

Unfold the book-style sheet and place it on a flat, well-lit surface. Identify the numbered areas and match each number to the corresponding colour guide. Begin colouring large zones first to establish overall tones, then fill smaller details. Use light, even strokes to avoid paper damage and allow ink or wax to dry before stacking pages. After finishing, the sheet can be displayed, hung on a wall or stored back in the book for later use.

Recommendations

Use non-bleeding markers or coloured pencils if you plan to display the finished page; test pens on a corner first to ensure the paper accepts the medium. Provide a protective underlay to prevent impressions on the surface beneath the sheet. Supervise younger children to prevent swallowing small parts such as pencil sharpenings and to guide correct colour-number matching.
