Schroef Fischer 670475 300 mm 50 stuks

Fischer 300 mm stainless steel screws are designed for timber connections and other wood applications where corrosion resistance and mechanical strength are required. Each screw has an overall length of 300 mm with a threaded portion of 70 mm and a head diameter of 6 mm. The pack contains 50 screws, offering a practical quantity for construction, carpentry, and outdoor projects.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction provides long-term resistance to rust and weathering, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The combination of a long shank and a shorter threaded section enables secure clamping of timber elements while minimising splitting. A 6 mm head diameter gives reliable bearing area for washers or direct seating against wooden surfaces, ensuring stable connections under load.

Suitable for

• Timber framing and roof battens
• Decking and exterior wooden structures
• Heavy carpentry and joinery connections
• Applications requiring corrosion-resistant fasteners

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel
• Total length: 300 mm
• Thread length: 70 mm
• Head diameter: 6 mm
• Quantity per pack: 50 pieces

How to use

Select an appropriate drill or pilot hole diameter for the screw shank to reduce splitting in the timber. Insert the screw using a compatible driver or bit at a controlled speed to ensure straight engagement; a washer can be used where increased bearing surface is needed. For best results in dense hardwoods, pre-drilling to the full shank depth is recommended. Drive the screw until the head is flush with the timber surface or until the desired clamping is achieved without over-torquing.

Recommendations

Use these stainless steel screws in environments where moisture or weather exposure is expected. Match screw length and thread position to the thickness and type of wood being joined. Store fasteners in a dry place and handle with protective gloves if working with treated timber to avoid skin contact with residues.
