Schroef SPAX platverzonken kop T-STAR plus zink 40 mm 200 stuks

SPAX Flat countersunk head screws with T-STAR plus drive and zinc finish are designed for general woodworking applications. Each screw is 40 mm long with a 4 mm diameter and a 35 mm thread length; the pack contains 200 pieces. These zinc-coated screws are suitable for indoor multifunctional use and provide reliable fastening in a variety of wood types.

Advantages

No pre-drilling is required in many wood applications due to the 4CUT point, which displaces fibres and reduces splitting. The T-STAR plus drive ensures secure bit engagement with minimal cam‑out and efficient transmission of torque, allowing quicker and safer fastening and more screwed connections per battery charge. Ground serrations and a MULTI head design enable fast, secure fastening with flush countersinking and controlled stopping on metal.

Suitable for

• General woodworking and carpentry
• Indoor assembly of furniture and fixtures
• Projects requiring flush countersunk finishes

How to use

Select a T-STAR plus bit and a suitable cordless or corded driver. Position the screw perpendicular to the workpiece and apply steady pressure while driving at a moderate speed. In many wood types the 4CUT point permits screwing without pre-drilling; however, pre-drill pilot holes when working near edges, in very hard or brittle wood, or when exact alignment is required. Use the MULTI head feature to achieve flush countersinking where needed.

Recommendations for use

For best results, test on a scrap piece of the same wood to verify that pre-drilling is unnecessary and to set driver torque. When fastening into metal or very hard substrates, reduce speed and check that the screw head seats properly to avoid damage to the driver bit or workpiece.
