Schroevendraaierbit Wera 05056174001 1 stuk plat metaal 25 mm

The Wera 05056174001 slot screwdriver bit is a 25 mm metal bit designed for precise engagement and long service life. Its tip is coated with microscopic diamond particles to ensure a secure grip in slotted screws, reducing the required contact pressure and lowering the risk of cam‑out. The bit features a torsion zone that absorbs kinetic energy under peak loads and a softer bi‑torsion zone to prevent twisting of the bit tip under high stress, which contributes to a longer product lifetime. The 1/4" hex shank (25.4 / 4 mm) is compatible with holders according to DIN ISO 1173‑D 6.3.

Advantages

Diamond particle coating on the tip improves bite and reduces slippage while allowing lower pressing force. Integrated torsion and bi‑torsion zones dissipate peak load energy and prevent tip distortion, extending the bit's usable life. The standardized 1/4" hex shank ensures broad compatibility with common bit holders and screwdriver systems.

Suitable for

• Manual slotted screw fastening and removal
• Use with 1/4" hex bit holders and power drivers supporting DIN ISO 1173‑D 6.3
• Applications requiring reduced cam‑out and precise torque transfer

Key specifications

• Brand: Wera
• Model / MPN: 05 056174 001
• EAN: 2050000315565
• Type: Slot (slotted) screwdriver bit
• Length: 25 mm
• Shank: 1/4" hex (25.4 / 4 mm), compatible with DIN ISO 1173‑D 6.3 holders
• Tip: Diamond particle coating

How to use

Insert the 1/4" hex shank into a compatible bit holder or screwdriver. Align the diamond‑coated slot tip with the screw head and apply steady pressure while turning. For powered drivers, use appropriate speed and torque settings to avoid overloading the bit; the built‑in torsion zones will reduce stress peaks but do not replace correct usage. After use, store the bit in a dry place or its dedicated holder to protect the coating and tip geometry.

Recommendations

Use the bit with compatible 1/4" holders and select torque settings suitable for the screw material. Avoid excessive lateral force to preserve the diamond tip and torsion zones; replace the bit when tip wear affects engagement.
