Schuurband Bosch 2 608 606 078

The Bosch 2 608 606 078 sanding belt is a single-pack abrasive accessory made for manual and machine sanding tasks. Designed to fit compatible Bosch belt sanders, this sanding belt provides consistent material removal and a uniform finish on wood, metal, and painted surfaces. The product is intended to support both renovation and finishing stages of a job where controlled abrasion is required.

Advantages

This sanding belt offers steady cutting action and reliable durability, allowing for extended use before replacement. Its abrasive surface promotes even stock removal and helps reduce visible scratches, improving overall surface quality. The belt’s construction ensures stable tracking in belt sanders and compatibility with common Bosch sanding models, enabling efficient operation during both heavy material removal and fine finishing.

Suitable for

• Sanding and leveling wooden boards and furniture
• Removing old paint and varnish from surfaces
• Surface preparation before painting or finishing
• Deburring and light metal sanding
• DIY home improvement and on-site renovation work

Key specifications

• Pack quantity: 1 sanding belt
• Compatible with Bosch belt sanders and other machines using the same belt dimensions
• Designed for general-purpose sanding on wood, metal, and painted surfaces
• Construction provides stable tracking and consistent abrasion
• Suitable for both coarse material removal and finer finishing passes (depending on grit).

How to use

Install the sanding belt on a compatible belt sander following the machine manufacturer’s instructions for tensioning and alignment. Start sanding at low speed to ensure proper tracking, then increase pressure and feed rate as needed while maintaining steady motion along the workpiece. Replace the belt when the abrasive surface shows significant wear or reduced cutting performance. Observe the sander’s safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as eye protection and a dust mask.

Recommendations

For best results, match the sanding belt grit to the task: use coarser grits for rapid material removal and finer grits for smooth finishing. Keep the workpiece steady and use even passes to avoid gouging. Store spare belts flat or hung in a dry environment to prevent deformation and moisture damage.
