Abrasive rolls Wood & Metal, aluminium oxide, 115mm
The KWB 817824 abrasive roll is an aluminium oxide-coated sanding roll with grit P240, 115 mm wide and 5 m long. It is intended for sanding wood and metal surfaces as well as removing paint, varnish and filler. The roll fits leading orbital sanders and can also be used for hand sanding and work on stone and certain plastics.

Advantages

A medium-fine P240 grit delivers a smooth finish and is suitable for preparing surfaces before painting or varnishing.

How to use

Cut the abrasive roll to the required length and attach it to a compatible orbital sander or use it manually with a sanding block or by hand. Apply even pressure and move along the grain on wood or in smooth, controlled strokes on metal and other materials. For best results, start with a coarser grit if heavy material removal is needed, then finish with the P240 roll for smoothing and surface preparation.

Recommendations

For safety, wear appropriate eye and respiratory protection when sanding. Test on a small area before full use to confirm compatibility with the material being sanded. Store the roll in a dry place to maintain abrasive performance.
