Schuurschijf KWB 491322 5 stuks

Sanding lattice made of fiberglass mesh with silicon carbide grit and a synthetic-resin bond, backed with velour for secure attachment. The KWB 491322 sanding disc set contains 5 discs designed for universal use on a variety of sanders; the abrasive mesh is washable and can be shaken clean, and its lifetime is up to four times longer than conventional aluminium-oxide abrasive paper. These discs are suitable for smoothing fillers, leveling very rough areas, and removing paint, synthetic paint, acrylic paint and rust to obtain a homogeneous finished surface.

Advantages

The fiberglass-mesh construction provides increased durability and tear resistance, while the silicon carbide grit ensures effective material removal on multiple substrates. The velour backing guarantees reliable attachment to standard sanding pads. The open mesh structure allows debris to pass through and makes the discs easy to clean under running water or by shaking, and the products are compatible with extraction-capable sanders for cleaner operation.

How to use

Attach a disc to a compatible hook-and-loop sanding pad on your sander. Use appropriate grit and speed for the material being sanded, apply even pressure and move the sander across the surface. For heavy deposits or rust, start with coarser grits and progress to finer ones to achieve a homogeneous finish. Clean the disc by shaking out debris or rinsing under running water; allow it to dry fully before reuse.

Recommendations

For best results, use with a sander that has dust extraction when working on painted or dusty surfaces, choose the correct grit progression for the task, and always follow safety guidelines such as wearing eye and respiratory protection.
