Schuurschijf KWB 492024 5 stk.

KWB 492024 sanding disc Ø 150 mm with aluminium oxide abrasive and phenolic resin bonding is designed for sanding wood and metal surfaces. The discs have a strong backing and hook-and-loop fabric attachment, are punched for dust extraction, and are intended for use with random orbit sanders to remove paint, varnish and filler and to refine surfaces for further finishing.

Advantages

The aluminium oxide abrasive offers good cut rate and long life on both wood and metal. Phenolic resin bonding increases durability at higher temperatures, while the strong backing and hook-and-loop fastening ensure secure mounting and easy disc changes. The punched design supports better dust extraction when used with compatible sanders.

How to use

Attach the sanding disc to a compatible random orbit sander using the hook-and-loop fabric backing, ensuring the disc is centered and securely fixed. Start sanding with light pressure and progress through appropriate grit steps for the task, keeping the sander moving to avoid uneven removal. For best results on paint or varnish removal, use gradual grit progression and check the surface frequently.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask. Match disc grit to the task and ensure the sander and dust-extraction system are compatible with punched discs to reduce airborne dust.
