Schuurschijf KWB 495906 5 stuks schuuraccessoires

Sanding Disc KWB 495906, Ø 125 mm, set of 5. These aluminium oxide abrasive discs are stearate coated to reduce clogging and are bonded with phenolic resin on a reinforced, fabric-backed support. They are punched for use with random orbit sanders and are intended for sanding hard and softwoods, resin and acrylic paints, general paints and some plastics, providing consistent removal and surface preparation.

Advantages

The stearate coating reduces clogging during sanding, extending disc life and maintaining cutting efficiency. Aluminium oxide abrasive ensures durable cutting on wood and painted surfaces. Phenolic resin bonding combined with a reinforced fabric backing improves strength and stability during use. The 125 mm size and punched design make them compatible with most random orbit sanders.

How to use

Attach the sanding disc to a compatible 125 mm random orbit sander according to the sander manufacturer’s instructions. Start with an appropriate grit for the task (coarser for heavy removal, finer for finishing) and apply even pressure while moving the sander smoothly across the surface. Replace the disc when cutting performance decreases or the abrasive becomes clogged beyond cleaning.

Recommendations

For best results, choose the correct grit for the material and avoid excessive pressure to prevent accelerated wear. Use dust extraction where available and follow safety guidelines such as eye and respiratory protection. Store discs flat in a dry environment to preserve bonding and performance.
