Schuurschijven KWB 491900 5 stuks

Sanding Disc KWB 491900 5 pcs — abrasive discs with a 125 mm diameter designed for sanding wood, metal, paint, varnish and filler. The discs are coated with aluminium oxide abrasive and bonded with phenolic resin on a strong backing. They come with hook-and-loop fabric backing and are punched for dust extraction, making them suitable for use with random orbit sanders.

Advantages

These KWB sanding discs provide a durable aluminium oxide abrasive surface and a phenolic resin bond that maintain grit integrity during use. The strong backing supports consistent sanding pressure, while the hook-and-loop fabric backing enables quick attachment and replacement. Punched holes allow improved dust extraction when used with compatible sanders.

How to use

Attach a disc to the random orbit sander using the hook-and-loop fabric backing, ensuring the punched holes align with the sander's dust extraction pattern. Start sanding with moderate pressure and move the sander evenly across the surface. Replace discs when abrasive performance decreases or when the disc becomes clogged or damaged.

Recommendations

For best results, select the appropriate grit for the task (coarse for fast material removal, finer grits for finishing). Use dust extraction where possible and wear suitable personal protective equipment such as eye protection, a dust mask and hearing protection.
