Schuurvlies KWB 819880 grijs 230 mm

The KWB 819880 scouring pad (grey, 150 x 230 mm) is an open‑pored abrasive pad bonded with phenolic resin and aluminium oxide grit. It is intended for use on orbital sanders with extraction and clamping devices or on manual grinding tools with a clamping device. The open structure resists clogging and allows consistent material removal on wood and metals.

Advantages

The pad's aluminium oxide abrasive and phenolic resin bond provide long life and steady cutting action. Its open‑pored construction reduces clogging during use and improves dust extraction when used with a compatible orbital sander. The dimensions (150 x 230 mm) and clamping compatibility make it suitable for both machine and manual applications.

How to use

Attach the scouring pad to a compatible orbital sander or manual grinding tool using the device's clamping system. Start with light pressure and move the pad evenly across the surface to achieve the desired contouring or matt finish. Increase pressure gradually only if more material removal is required. Keep the sander moving to avoid creating uneven spots.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (dust mask, eye protection and hearing protection when using power tools). For best results on wood, follow coarse to fine progression with suitable abrasives; when working on metals or varnish, test on a small area first to confirm the finish.
