SDS-plus boor- en beitelset Metabo SP 5-delig (MPN 630465000)

The Metabo SP 5-piece SDS-plus drill and chisel set provides a compact selection of SDS-plus bits and chisels for rotary hammer applications in masonry and concrete. The set includes common drilling sizes and chisel types designed for use with SDS-plus compatible rotary hammers, offering straightforward interchangeability and reliable engagement in the chuck. Intended as replacement or supplementary accessories, the set covers basic drilling, anchor hole creation and light demolition tasks.

Advantages

The set offers the convenience of SDS-plus connection for quick bit changes and secure locking during heavy-impact operation. Hardened tool steel construction delivers wear resistance for drilling into concrete and masonry. A compact assortment reduces the need to carry multiple individual parts and ensures compatibility with a wide range of SDS-plus rotary hammers. The included chisels allow controlled material removal where drilling alone is insufficient.

Suitable for

• Drilling anchor and dowel holes in concrete and brick
• Light demolition and chip-out work around openings
• Preparing holes for inserts and through-fixings
• General renovation and construction site tasks

Key specifications

• Connection type: SDS-plus shank for rotary hammers
• Set composition: mix of drill bits and chisels (five pieces total)
• Intended materials: concrete, masonry, brick
• Material: hardened tool steel for impact resistance
• Compatibility: designed for SDS-plus tool holders and rotary hammers

How to use

Select the appropriate drill bit or chisel for the task and insert the SDS-plus shank into the rotary hammer’s chuck until it locks. For drilling, set the rotary hammer to the hammer-drill mode and apply steady, even pressure without forcing the bit; use water cooling if recommended for prolonged drilling to reduce wear. For chiselling, switch the tool to chisel mode and use controlled blows, progressing gradually to avoid excessive material removal in a single pass. Replace worn bits to maintain drilling performance and check the chuck and shank for secure engagement before each use.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment—safety goggles, hearing protection and dust mask—when drilling or chiselling in concrete and masonry. Match bit size and chisel type to the required hole diameter or removal profile and avoid using the set on reinforced steel without purpose-designed drill bits.
