ShiverPeaks adapter S/CONN TAE-N - RJ11 zwart

The ShiverPeaks Connector S/CONN TAE-N - RJ11 Black is a slim adapter designed to join a TAE‑N outlet with an RJ11 6/4 jack. It features a compact black housing and nickel/gold plated contacts that improve electrical conductivity and resist corrosion, delivering stable signal transfer between legacy TAE‑N telephone sockets and devices using RJ11 connections. The adapter is intended for in‑home and office telephony setups where a reliable physical interface is required.

Advantages

The slim profile reduces strain on wall sockets and allows installation in confined spaces. Nickel/gold plating on the contact surfaces enhances contact reliability and reduces oxidation over time. The simple two‑ended design makes the adapter easy to connect without tools, and the neutral black finish integrates unobtrusively with most devices and cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting telephones with RJ11 plugs to TAE‑N wall sockets
• Legacy telephone systems and adapters in residential or small office environments
• Temporary or permanent wiring changes where a compact adapter is required

Key specifications

• Connector A: TAE‑N female interface
• Connector B: RJ11 (6/4) female jack
• Contact plating: nickel with gold plating on mating surfaces
• Housing color: black
• Form factor: slim, low‑profile adapter

How to use

Insert the TAE‑N end into the corresponding wall socket until it seats securely. Plug the RJ11 cable from your telephone or device into the RJ11 jack. Verify the physical connection by checking for dial tone or device network activity. If required, gently reposition the adapter to avoid stress on nearby cables or connectors. No special tools or configuration are necessary.

Recommendations

For best long‑term performance, avoid bending the connected cable sharply at the adapter and keep contacts clean and dry. Use the adapter in environments within normal indoor temperature and humidity ranges and inspect contacts periodically for signs of wear or corrosion.
