Audiokabel S/CONN BS69006-5.0 5 m TOSLINK blauw

The ShiverPeaks Audio cable S/CONN BS69006-5.0 5 m TOSLINK Blue is an optical digital audio lead designed to connect compatible audio devices over a 5 metre distance. The cable uses TOSLINK-style fiber optic connections with male connectors on both ends and is finished in a distinctive blue jacket. Constructed with quality materials and gold-plated contacts at the connectors, the cable is intended to provide reliable digital signal transfer for home audio, AV systems and multimedia setups.

Advantages

This 5 m TOSLINK audio cable combines optical signal transmission with durable construction for consistent performance. The fiber-optic design eliminates electrical interference and ensures low signal loss across the run. Gold-plated contacts at the connector interfaces improve contact reliability and reduce wear, while the flexible blue jacket provides mechanical protection and easier routing in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or home theatre receivers
• Linking CD/DVD/Blu-ray players to AV processors or amplifiers
• Integrating gaming consoles with external audio systems
• Use in desktop or multimedia workstations requiring optical digital audio

How to use

Insert each male TOSLINK connector into the corresponding optical input or output on your audio devices until you feel a gentle click or secure fit. Ensure both device optical ports are clean and free of dust before connection. Select the optical digital audio output in the source device’s audio settings and, if necessary, set the receiving device to accept optical input. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it under heavy objects to maintain optical integrity.

Recommendations

Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and keep the optical ports covered when not in use to prevent dust accumulation. For best results, use this TOSLINK cable for distances up to 5 metres in typical home and office environments and verify device compatibility with optical digital audio signals before installation.
