Audiokabel S/CONN SP40110 10 m 2 x RCA blauw

The ShiverPeaks Audio Cable S/CONN SP40110 is a 10 m stereo RCA-to-RCA lead designed for connecting audio components over a longer distance. It has two RCA male connectors on each end and a blue PVC jacket. Conductors are made from high-quality copper and the contacts are gold-plated to maintain stable signal transfer and resist corrosion. The cable is intended for use in home audio, AV systems and other setups where a reliable analog connection is required.

Advantages

The cable's 10 m length allows flexible placement of source and playback devices without signal interruption. Copper conductors provide good conductivity for analog audio signals, while gold-plated RCA contacts offer improved corrosion resistance and secure connection. The blue outer jacket helps with visual identification in multi-cable installations and provides basic mechanical protection for the internal conductors.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, tuners or DACs to amplifiers or receivers
• Linking TVs or set-top boxes to external audio systems
• Extending audio connections between audio components in living room or studio setups
• Temporary or semi-permanent AV setups where a visible colored cable is helpful

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connectors: 2 x RCA male on each end (stereo)
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact finish: gold-plated RCA contacts
• Jacket colour: blue

How to use

Insert the RCA plugs into the corresponding left (white) and right (red) input or output sockets on your audio devices, ensuring a snug fit. Route the cable along a safe path to avoid sharp bends and sources of interference; maintain gentle curves rather than tight loops. If connecting equipment with power present, set volume levels to low before connecting to avoid potential speaker or amplifier damage. After connection, test playback and adjust levels on your source and amplifier to achieve balanced stereo output.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Periodically inspect connectors for dirt or oxidation and clean contacts gently if needed. For fixed installations, secure the cable with cable clips or ties without compressing the jacket to preserve signal quality.
