Audiokabel S/CONN SP69006-0.5 0,5 m TOSLINK blauw

The ShiverPeaks Audio Cable S/CONN SP69006-0.5 0.5m TOSLINK Blue is a short digital optical audio cable designed for reliable transmission of stereo and multichannel audio between compatible devices. This 0.5 meter TOSLINK cable uses a copper core and gold-plated contacts on male connectors at both ends to maintain signal integrity and reduce contact corrosion. The cable's blue jacket offers a visible, tidy option for desktop or AV cabinet routing.

Advantages

This TOSLINK cable provides a compact 0.5m length suitable for close connections while minimizing excess cable clutter. Gold-plated contacts improve long-term contact reliability and help ensure consistent digital signal transfer. The copper conductor supports stable optical-to-electrical interfacing at device ends and the standardized TOSLINK connectors ensure wide compatibility with audio equipment that accepts optical inputs and outputs.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers with optical ports
• Linking gaming consoles or set-top boxes to home audio systems
• Connecting CD/DVD/Blu-ray players to external DACs or amplifiers
• Short-run desktop or media center audio connections where space is limited

Key specifications

• Cable type: TOSLINK optical audio cable with male-to-male connectors
• Length: 0.5 meters
• Conductor material: copper core
• Contact finish: gold-plated connector contacts
• Color: blue jacket
• Supported audio: digital optical stereo and multichannel formats (device-dependent)

How to use

Insert each TOSLINK male connector into the corresponding optical input or output on your devices until it clicks or seats securely. Ensure connector ends are aligned with the optical ports to avoid bending the internal ferrule. Use the 0.5m length for short-distance connections such as between a TV and a nearby soundbar or an AV receiver positioned close to a source device. If a device has protective caps on the optical ports, remove them before connecting.

Recommendations

Keep optical connector ends capped or covered when not in use to prevent dust accumulation. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable path and route the cable away from heavy foot traffic or pinch points. For best results, verify device settings to select optical output/input and confirm audio format compatibility between source and receiver.
