shiverpeaks BASIC-S netwerkkabel geel 10 m Cat7 S/FTP S-STP

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S networking cable Yellow 10 m Cat7 S/FTP S-STP is a 10-metre Cat7 patch cable with S/FTP (screened foiled twisted pair) shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this cable is suitable for wired Ethernet connections in home and office networks where reduced interference and reliable performance are required.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to its overall braid and individual foil shielding for each pair. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure stable connections and corrosion resistance, while the 10 m length provides flexibility for device placement without additional extensions.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections (Gigabit and multi-gigabit networks)
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices, and PCs
• Home networks and small to medium office installations

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 Male – RJ-45 Male; gold-plated contacts
• Cable category: Cat7 (S/FTP, S-STP)
• Colour: Yellow
• Brand: ShiverPeaks, MPN: BS75520-Y, EAN: 4017538006530

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (for example, router to switch or PC to wall outlet). Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid kinking the cable, maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter, and keep the cable separated from power lines and large electrical equipment. Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable where enhanced shielding is beneficial for stable, high-speed network connections.
