ShiverPeaks BS08-35055 zwart 5 m Cat7 U/UTP netwerkkabel

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35055 Black 5 m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable provides a high-bandwidth connection for wired networks. Designed to support data transfer speeds up to 10000 Mbit/s, this Cat7 cable uses an unshielded pair with overall U/UTP construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain signal integrity and reduce contact resistance. Its 5 meter length and black jacket make it suitable for connecting devices across rooms, behind furniture, or between networking equipment in small offices and home environments.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/UTP cable delivers high throughput and low latency suitable for demanding network tasks while remaining flexible enough for typical cable routing. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve corrosion resistance and ensure reliable connector contact over repeated insertions. The cable jacket and conductor layout are optimized for reduced crosstalk and consistent performance at higher frequencies, supporting modern Ethernet standards without requiring additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Wired desktop or laptop connections to routers, switches and access points
• High-definition video streaming and large file transfers
• Small office and home network backbones
• Gaming setups that require low latency and stable throughput
• Temporary or permanent patching between networking devices

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall unshielded with screened twisted pairs arrangement)
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable color: Black
• Typical use: Ethernet LAN, gigabit and 10 Gigabit applications

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your computer, switch or router and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the 5 m cable to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks that could affect performance. For optimal results, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as unshielded power transformers or heavy machinery.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid repeated heavy flexing near connector ends and maintain gentle bend radii during installation. Use the cable for indoor environments; if running through exterior conduits or harsh environments, choose appropriately rated outdoor or shielded alternatives.
