The ShiverPeaks DisplayPort cable S/CONN 30-15065 is a 7.5 m black cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends designed for transmitting high-definition video and audio between source devices and displays. With a compact 4.8 mm diameter, this cable provides a stable physical connection that is suitable for installations requiring longer reach without signal converters or additional adapters.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable offers a long 7.5 m reach while maintaining a slim 4.8 mm diameter for easier routing and reduced cable bulk. The use of DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connectors on both ends ensures direct digital transmission of audio and video signals, making it compatible with monitors, projectors, docking stations and graphics cards that support DisplayPort. The black finish provides a neutral appearance that fits professional and home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop or laptop graphics cards to external monitors
• Linking projectors to DisplayPort-equipped sources in meeting rooms
• Extending display connections in studio or home office setups
• Integrating into multi-monitor workstations and docking stations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black
• Supported signals: digital audio and video

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the DisplayPort output on your computer, docking station or source device and the other connector to the DisplayPort input on your monitor or projector. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch engages where applicable. After connection, configure display settings in the operating system or graphics driver to select resolution and refresh rate supported by both source and display.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive twisting of the cable, maintain a gentle bend radius, and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Verify that both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate; if issues occur, check connector seating and try a shorter cable to isolate signal problems.
