DisplayPort-kabel S/CONN 30-15495 40 m zwart

The S/CONN 30-15495 DisplayPort cable by ShiverPeaks is a 40 m black cable with DisplayPort connectors at both ends. Designed to transmit high-definition video and audio signals across extended distances, this cable has a 4.8 mm diameter that balances flexibility and signal integrity. It is intended for connecting PCs, graphics cards, monitors, and other DisplayPort-equipped devices in professional or home environments where longer runs are required.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable provides a long 40 m reach while maintaining a compact 4.8 mm diameter for easier routing through cable channels and around furniture. With DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connectivity at both ends, it supports straightforward plug-and-play installation and minimizes the need for adapters. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates cleanly into most setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or workstation to a remote monitor or projector
• Long-distance video runs in conference rooms and lecture halls
• Home theater and multi-screen desktop setups
• Professional AV installations where a single DisplayPort link is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (such as a graphics card or media player) and the other connector to the target display or projector. Ensure both devices are powered off when making connections if recommended by the device manufacturers, then power on and select the appropriate input on the display. Route the 40 m cable along walls, under desks, or through cable conduits, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve signal quality and cable longevity.

Recommendations

For best results, keep cable runs away from high-power electrical lines and strong electromagnetic sources. When installing permanent or semi-permanent runs, allow gentle curvature with minimum bend radius and secure the cable at intervals to reduce strain. If using in critical AV applications, test the connection at full resolution and refresh rate to confirm stable signal transmission.
