HDMI-kabel S/CONN 10-40055 5 m

The S/CONN 10-40055 HDMI cable by ShiverPeaks is a 5 m black HDMI Type A to Type A lead designed for home and professional AV setups. It supports the HDMI 2.1 specification and a data transfer rate up to 48 Gbit/s, enabling high-bandwidth video and multichannel audio transmission between source devices and displays. Gold-plated contacts are used to maintain reliable signal contact and resist corrosion over time.

Advantages

This HDMI cable provides a high data throughput in a single-cable solution, supporting higher resolutions and refresh rates permitted by HDMI 2.1. The 5 m length gives flexibility for connecting TVs, projectors, or AV receivers where devices are spaced apart. Gold-plated contacts help reduce contact resistance and improve long-term connection stability. Its black jacket offers a discreet appearance that integrates into typical home theatre or office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting modern TVs to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players or streaming devices
• Linking gaming consoles to displays for high-resolution, high-frame-rate output
• Connecting projectors for presentations or home cinema setups
• Connecting AV receivers or soundbars using audio return channel (ARC) functionality

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A on both ends
• Standard supported: HDMI 2.1
• Maximum data rate: 48 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device and the other into the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure both device HDMI ports are free of dust and debris before connection. After connection, select the corresponding HDMI input on the display and, if required, enable ARC or eARC in the device settings for audio return functionality. For optimal results, avoid tight bends near the connector ends and route the cable away from high-interference sources.

Recommendations

Use this HDMI cable for distances up to 5 m without additional signal boosters. For consistent high-bandwidth performance, verify that connected devices support HDMI 2.1 features you intend to use (such as higher frame rates, HDR formats, or eARC). Store the cable loosely coiled and avoid kinking to maintain long-term reliability.
