Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-22046 wit 3m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22046 White 3m Cat6 U/UTP is a 3-metre Ethernet cable designed for Gigabit networks. It uses Cat6 wiring to support data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to enhance contact reliability. The cable features U/UTP construction (an overall unshielded cable with individually shielded pairs not present), providing a balance between performance and flexibility while keeping a clean white appearance suitable for visible installations in homes and offices.

Advantages

The cable's Cat6 specification ensures reduced crosstalk and improved signal integrity compared with earlier category cables, enabling stable Gigabit connections for common network tasks. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve corrosion resistance and contact quality, supporting consistent performance over time. The 3 m length offers convenient reach between devices without excess slack, and the white jacket provides a discreet look that blends into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, and network printers to switches or routers
• Wired connections for smart TVs, gaming consoles, and media players
• Small office and home office (SOHO) wired networking setups
• Temporary or permanent patching between wall ports and network equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance for up to 250 MHz bandwidth
• Length: 3 metres
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded overall with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Maximum supported transfer rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Outer jacket color: white

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other to a router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large transformers or unshielded power cables. If routing the cable through conduits or behind furniture, take care not to crush or sharply bend the cable near the connectors.

Recommendations

For consistent Gigabit performance, use the cable within its intended 3 m length and maintain gentle bend radii. If installing in environments with high electromagnetic interference or for longer runs, consider shielded cabling or higher-category cables as appropriate.
