Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-40061 blauw 7,5 m Cat8 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-40061 Blue 7.5m Cat8 S/FTP is a high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for fast, stable data transmission in modern wired networks. Built to the Category 8 standard, the 7.5 metre length and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while RJ-45 connectors with gold plating maintain reliable signal contact. The cable’s blue jacket provides a clear visual identification within racks, offices, or home installations.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8 specification supports very high bandwidth and low latency for applications requiring large data throughput. S/FTP shielding around each pair and the overall braid minimizes external noise and ensures consistent performance in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors resist corrosion and improve long-term connection quality, and the 7.5 m length offers flexible placement between networking equipment without signal repeaters.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area networks (LAN) and data centers
• Connections between switches, routers, servers and patch panels
• Professional audio/video transmission and streaming setups
• Home offices and workstations requiring stable wired internet
• Environments with high electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8 cable suitable for up to multi-Gigabit and 25/40 Gbps class applications
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid with foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between the networking devices you wish to interconnect, ensuring the RJ-45 connectors align with the corresponding ports before insertion. Avoid sharp bends or tight kinks that could damage internal pairs; maintain gentle curves with a bend radius consistent with the cable’s diameter. For installations near sources of strong interference, position the cable to maximize separation from noise sources and use existing cable management to secure runs and reduce strain at connector ends.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat8 S/FTP cable in short to medium runs within racks or between nearby network equipment; verify that connected devices and infrastructure support the required multi-gigabit speeds to take full advantage of the cable’s performance. Periodically inspect connector contacts for contamination and replace if mechanical damage is observed.
